Questions
Does it work with no signal?
Yes. Everything saves on your phone as you go, so basements and plant rooms are fine. It backs up when you're back in signal.
iPhone or Android?
Both. It runs in your phone's browser and you add it to your home screen, where it opens and works like any other app. It works on a laptop too.
Which certificates does it do?
Fire alarm (service, commissioning, call-outs and fault finding), emergency lighting, CCTV, door entry, other fire safety systems, and electrical certificates.
Is my paperwork backed up?
On the paid plans, yes. Certificates and photos back up automatically, and you get them all back if you sign in on a new phone.
Can I use my own logo and colours?
Yes. Your logo, contact details and accreditation go on every certificate, report and quote.
Does it track my engineers?
No. There's no location tracking. Company owners see the paperwork, not where people are.
What will it cost?
Prices will be announced at launch. There'll be a free plan so you can try it properly, and founding member pricing for the first 50 companies.
Does it replace the standards?
No. It's a tool for competent engineers. Always work to current copies of BS 5839-1, BS 5266-1 and BS 7671, and the manufacturer's instructions.
